Sprawl Goons: Upgraded - Nodejacker's Netbook

The Nodejacker's Netbook is packed with more hacking options for Sprawl Goons GMs and nodejacker players.

While the hacking rules outlined in the Burning Nodes section of the Sprawl Goons: Upgraded - Carbon Edition work well for short games, it was felt that these rules and procedures could benefit from an expansion. And these rules also work perfectly for earlier editions of Sprawl Goons!

In the original rules, hacks are performed as one roll versus the target system’s Difficulty Score, with bonuses for software and cyberspace console. The core of this principal remains, but with added detail and flexibility.

Fast hacking rules designed to retain the one-roll feature of the original, to expedite hacking actions, while keeping the action exciting and unpredictable. Keep the narrative moving, avoiding those net-based mini-games that leave the other PCs twiddling their shiny cyberthumbs.
